Hola tú! I visited this amazing town in Boyacá called Nobsa. Nobsa is well known for manufacturing the best ponchos in Colombia.
If you’re planning to come to Colombia, this is a place that you need to visit! My recommendation for you is to buy a ruana as a souvenir of Boyacá.
Here in Colombia, we have a special word for the ponchos, here we call them ruanas.
In the Nobsa’s main square, you can find a block with these spectacular murals which represent the handicraft of its artisans.
If you want to spend a nice time here in Nobsa with the locals, you can go to a cafe. There are different options here for coffee lovers. I love the name of this cafe! Cafe La Ruana!
BTW, you may be wondering Why If I went to Nobsa “The Poncholand” I didn’t buy a Ruana? and the answer is that I have a beautiful white poncho that was inherited to me many years ago from my father.
Today’s outfit is very simple, faux leather trousers, nude heels or sneakers, and this beautiful alpaca sweater that I bought in Nobsa. I love it!
